Anglo Galvanised Metal Primer
Galvanized metal must be treated with this special preparatory agent before applying Anglo Treadsafe.
A pre-treatment for galvanised steel to ensure the subsequent adhesion of coatings. A colour change from grey to black is visual proof that the entire surface has been satisfactorily treated.
Ensure that all oil and grease are thoroughly removed (particularly important on new - or un-weathered galvanised steel) by swabbing with a degreasing solvent, and washing down with liquid detergent and warm water, rinse well and allow to dry. Then thoroughly work the Anglo Galvanised Metal Primer into the surface using a paint brush, ensuring that the entire surface changes colour. Wash off and allow to dry.
Anglo Galvanised Metal Primer is a pre-treatment only and should be over coated with priming paints as soon as possible after the treatment has dried.
Usage rate: 20m2 per litre
Drying time: Galvanised surface should shown signs of turning black after 20 - 30mins
