Rust-Oleum Mathys Durbocem
Rust-Oleum Durbocem is a problem solving coating for damp walls. The paint is specially formulated to adhere and build a strong bond with the damp surface it is applied to, because it contains cement the moisture on the substrate actually helps the paint cure and become stronger coating. Rust-Oleum Durbocem is a solvent-based paint based on plasticized acrylic resins for inside and outside use, by choosing a product like Durbocem you eliminate the usual issues encountered with normal paints in a damp environment. Durbocem allows the surface to breathe so water pressure does not build up behind the coating which in turn prevents any flaking paint or diversion of damp to other areas.
MAIN PROPERTIES
Builds a strong bond with the damp substrate.
Can be applied on chalking substrates.
Builds a strong bond with cement-based substrates.
Contains cement, and therefore this product is extremely suitable to be applied on damp substrates.
Can be recoated with Paracem (when the substrate is dry).
RECOMMENDED USES
Painting of damp walls and cellars inside or out
Coverage: 1.5 - 3 mē per litre (total consumption, 2 coats)
