  • Chlorinated rubber paint is a specialised coating that is highly common as swimming pool coating. It is advised that the coating should be applied by an experienced professional, as there are many pitfalls in applying rubber paint in swimming pools; common mistakes are not having due diligence in washing the pool and making certain the substrate is free of debris, dirt, oils and chalk, and ensuring the pool is completely dry before application. If in doubt, hire a professional. If you are a professional, you may consider planning to ensure every aspect of the job is done to spec, to give the best protection and benefits the coating can offer.
  • To allow the coating to dry evenly and to avoid bubbling the wet paint, ensure the surface is coated evenly.
