Fire Certificates at Rawlins

Certification Information

Sherwin-Williams cannot certify whether or not an applicator has applied their intumescent coatings succesfully. They would need to be in attendance for the entire application in order to do this, which is not practical.

Sherwin-Williams Technical Service Department can provide periodic visits during application and undertake reference areas. A report would be generated for the applicator for them to forward onto a client, but this is not certification. Also, the report may not be favourable if application isn't being undertaken correctly. Depending on the amount/frequency of visits there could also be a charge for this service.

Certificate of Conformance

Sherwin-Williams delivery note doubles up as a certificate of conformance, this could be used to confirm the amount of material purchased. This could be checked against a Material Take Off (MTO) from Sherwin-Williams Fire Engineering and Estimation Team (FEET), however only theoretical quantities of material are provided - the actual amount used should be well above this due to wastage factors.
