Additive for use with Selemix 7-536/7-537 2K Polyurethane Direct Topcoat (70GU) for direct application to glass where the reverse side of the glass is painted.
Please Note - At present the additional components to use this product with Selemix 7-110 for Glitter/Sparkle effects and Transparent effects are unavailable. 6-585 can therefore only be used at present as a Glass Adhesion Promoter when used as above with Selemix 7-536/7-537 2K Polyurethane Direct Topcoat (70GU).
Selemix 6-585 Glass Adhesion Promoter is for use with Selemix 7-536/7-537 2K Polyurethane Direct Topcoat (70GU) giving an easy to use product that can be applied directly to glass for applications where the reverse side of the glass is painted. Examples are kitchen splashbacks, bathroom fittings, and advertising displays.

Apply only on a clean and dry surface with a temperature above the dew point to avoid condensation. In confined spaces, provide adequate ventilation during application and drying.

This is the standard process for glass painting to achieve solid and metallic colours when Selemix 6-585 Glass Adhesion Promoter is used with Selemix 7-536/7-537 2K Polyurethane Direct Topcoat (70GU) . The speed of drying can be increased with use of 1-490 Thinner, or 6-550 Accelerator (added at 1-2%) but these can shorten the pot life.
The use of 1-490 Thinner AND 6-550 together is not recommended.
