Hi iv'e ainted my motorhome previously using first the roller application (which I did not really like, seeing as how its a dimpled finish on the Body are I was painting.) So I next used a little electric air sprayer, which was far easier (thinned it down with white spirit !!) came up fine. However I've my mates to do now!! And I may possibly be re-doing my own again as the white is a bit weak looking. My question is obviously I would be better using the recommended combicolour thinners, so how far will i 1Litre tin go (ratio is probably what I need ???) on say 4 / 5 litres of paint TIA I. Fergusson Previous customer so I will be ordering OUR !! paint soon to be able to start painting in mid august!!
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
Assuming you are using this product with Rust-Oleum CombiColor Original, it is not recommend for application by airless spray.
But the thinning ratio for air atomised spray application is 10 to 25% by volume.
So for 5ltrs you could need between 0.5ltr and 1.25ltr.

Question:
Hi - I'd value more info on how to use Combocolour 7301 thinner as a metal surface cleaner / degreaser prior to painting Thanks!
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
This product is also used to thin Rust-Oleum Combicolour, to use as a degreaser apply to a clean, dry cloth, apply to the substrate and then remove with another dry cloth before it dries.
