Question:

Hi, what is the dry weight of the spray? i.e. if I were to spray the entire 500ML on a surface, how much weight would the surface gain once the spray dries out?

Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:

The manufacturer has tried to get some details but still have not been able to calculate how much weight this would add to the surface.

But to give an INDICATIVE estimate, if we sprayed 500 mls, then after solvent evaporation, we MIGHT have about 250 mls of dried paint on the surface.

If we imagined a density level of 1.0, then the resulting weight gain would be 250 gms.

But I would stress that this is a very rough estimated value

Question:

It says in the info "For interior use and to a certain extent exterior". I am looking for something to coat a front doorstep, painted with Rustoleum anysurface cardinal red paint. Is this a suitable product? thanks

Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:

This product is suitable for interior or exterior use where it will not come into regular contact with water.

Assuming the substrate is compatible, dry, clean and sound we can recommend Smartkote Protectakote UVR.

This is available in many colours and a clear option.

Question:

Hi, need to make my laminate floor non slip for my dogs, is this safe for pets? Thanks

Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:

This product hasn't been tested for animal safety so I really couldn't confirm whether it would be safe or not if licked/eaten etc.
