Anti Slip Stair Nosings are easy to fit and help highlight the hazardous leading edge area of the step. This is the ideal product if you are looking for an affordable solution to minimise the risk of slips, trips, and falls in the workplace or in your own garden. Not only does stair nosing add an extra anti-slip surface underfoot, but it also highlights attention to the edge of a stair - which can often be missed in low lighting, particularly outdoors or in a poorly lit stairwell.
Luminous Stair Nosings (only available in the 55x55mm size) provide a highly visible yellow colour in normal light and produces a long lasting luminous glow in low light. Gives an effective contrast to the background and highlights the leading edge of the step to ensure good visibity in an emergency when lighting is poor.
- Use on timber, concrete or metal stairs/steps.
- Easy install, simply glue and screw to the existing substrate.

Material Characteristics
Quality Assurance: Manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001 accredited Quality Management System, the structural integrity of the specified material is high grade. A suggested life span of 25 years is expected, but not guaranteed, and is based on a number of variables: environmental, installation process, maintenance, loading and traffic conditions.
Slip Resistance: The integral angular quartz gritted surface has been tested and certified in accordance with BS 7976-2. It provides an exceptional level of slip resistance over its lifespan. Lifespan depends on frequency of use.
Chemical Resistance: Fibreglass products are resistant to a wide range of chemicals across a broad temperature spectrum. GRP is made using a number of different resins to achieve specific chemical resistant properties. Please refer to chemical resistance charts at the end of data sheet.
Fire Resistance: All products contain a Fire Resistant Additive resulting in a Euro Class 1 fire rating in accordance with ISO 9239-1 and ISO 11925-2. This performance is equivalent to ASTM E84 class 1 and BS 476 part 7 class 2 flame spread and in effect gives a 25 minute burn time on the material.
