All are manufactured from a corrosion resistant, high-strength, lightweight, anti-slip fibreglass which provides an excellent alternative to conventional Galvanised and Stainless Steel grating. ColourPicker Explained

In general we sort colours for products into 2 main groups - ‘Ready Mixed’ and ‘Tinted’.
Tinted colours will always be more expensive than Ready Mixed colours as they need to be produced at the time of order using a tinting machine dispensing colourant into a base*.
During busy periods, this means that tinted colours could take longer, for example – a ready mixed colour ordered on a 3-5 day delivery might arrive within 3 days, however a tinted colour might take the full 5 days to arrive.

To find Ready Mixed colours, search "ready mixed" or select the Ready Mixed 'colour chart'. To see Tinted colours select a colour chart such as RAL, BS, NCS, etc. or search for a colour/hue to see available or related options.

To ensure fair pricing, we split colours into ‘Price Bands’ to group together similar priced colours. If you wish to search for the cheapest tinted colours, always select Price Band 1.

*Colours are sold in the nearest tin size but actual paint volume per tin may vary up to 10% depending on colour

Colour reproduction of the Products on the Site is limited by the technology used to deliver web pages and by the colour representation of Customer’s own monitor and computer set-up. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our Products but we cannot guarantee that the colour shown on Customer’s monitor’s display will accurately reflect the colour of the Product on delivery. We recommend that Customer first purchases the smallest Product available or access an industry standard colour chart in person (and not digitally) to ensure that the colour is acceptable for its purposes.

SOLID TOP

29 or 42mm depth grating which includes a 4mm thick QuartzGrip® gritted top surface providing a 'solid' topped surface with no holes. To be installed using GRP Grating Fixings.

Quality Assurance

Manufactured in accordance with our ISO 9001 accredited Quality Management System, the structural integrity of the specified material is high grade. A suggested life span of 25 years is expected, but not guaranteed, and is based on a number of variables: environmental, installation process, maintenance, loading and traffic conditions.

Slip Resistance

The integral angular quartz gritted surface has been Tested in accordance with BS7976-2 and provides an exceptional level of slip resistance. Lifespan depends on frequency of use.

Self-Coloured

All Quartzgrip™ Moulded Fibreglass grating is pigmented throughout during manufacture, and does not require any secondary treatment such as powder coating or paint spraying. Standard Stock Colours are Green (RAL6001) Grey (RAL7004) and Beige (RAL1003). Bespoke colours available upon request.

UV Stable

All panels are manufactured with a high quality UV inhibitor to prevent colour degradation.

Chemical Resistance

GRP is resistant to a wide range of chemicals, across a wide temperature spectrum. GRP can be made using different resin systems to achieve specific chemical resistant properties. Please refer to chemical resistance charts at the end of data sheet.

Fire Resistance

All products contain a fire resistant additive and comply with Euro Class 1 and ISO11952-2. Performance is equivalent to ASTM E84 class 1 and BS476 part 7 class 2 flame spread to give a 25 minute burn time.

Lightweight and Durable

Weighing around ⅓ of an alternative steel grating, Quartzgrip™ moulded fi breglass grating is lightweight in comparison, and can be manoeuvred into place without mechanical assistance. Quartzgrip™ Moulded Grating is exceptionally durable, and has the ability to withstand impact, reducing the risk of permanent buckling and deformation.
