Heskins Coarse Resilient self adhesive anti slip tape, a non-abrasive embossed non slip tape for use in barefoot environments (swimming pool changing rooms, gym wash rooms, boats) and food-safe areas (kitchens, preperation stations).
Heskins Coarse Resilient self adhesive anti slip tape is perfect for areas that need a non slip surface that is easy to walk on in barefoot, such as swimming pools, changing rooms, gym washrooms, boats, etc. The anti slip floor tape surface is non-abrasive and waterproof, with deep embossed surface textures providing excellent levels of grip (Coefficient of Friction - see further below for test results). This deeper pattern allows for less clogging by contaminants such as dust, ice, water etc, whilst providing higher levels of friction than required in wet and dry conditions.
These non-abrasive anti slip tapes are easy to clean thoroughly and therefore ideal for use in food preparation areas, sterile facilities, kitchens etc.

Heskins Coarse Resilient is available in 3 variations, these are detailed below:
H3415 Coarse Resilient (Mk 2)
The base film for this is manipulated to give it a finish which is extremely similar to rubber, not only giving it great non slip properties, but the inherent softness also gives it holding properties. Whilst the peaks and valleys are not so sharp, the materials features make up for this to give it a fantastic CoF (see firction rest results further below).

H3450 Coarse Resilient (Mk 3)
The base film on H3450 has not been manipulated so much, but this ensures that sharper peaks and valleys can be produced during the embossing process, as firmer plastics retain a complex pattern much more easily. This allows for excellent CoF levels, that create fantastic slip prevention in water or in moist conditions.

H3451 Coarse Resilient Lean
A much thinner alternative to the products above, making it more flexible and conformable with a heavily textured embossed surface. Unlike a conventional embossed surface (such as our aqua-safe) this material possesses deep valleys and sharp peaks; this change in peak-to-valley creates fantastic grip levels. The hybrid plastic we use offers better levels of grip compared to a conventional plastic film, it has 'give' built in allowing traffic to press in slightly thereby creating grip.

The above tests were conducted in accordance with Pendulum, the tests were conducted at a recognised independent friction testing laboratory, and copy certificates are available on request. Pendulum is a dynamic test; for static tests, results ASTM C 1028-96 are also available.
