Heskins Aqua Safe is the original non-abrasive waterproof self adhesive anti slip tape ideal for use on boats, in showers, baths and other bare foot areas such as changing rooms. The patterned material is easy to clean and has no cavities for dirt and bacteria to hide, perfect for kitchens, sterile manufacturing locations, food preparation areas etc.
The non-abrasive textured surface sheds no grit and doesn't abrade skin, fabric, wet suits or other materials. The material is thick and homogenous, able to apply to a wide range of substrates, including metal, to provide resistance against scratching and damage. Always check with our technical team on 0113 2455450 for substrate performance before purchasing.
For applying on baths or showers it is recommended applying anti slip disks or use strips in a ladder effect.
The Aqua Safe range of anti slip floor tapes is available in many colours, including Transparent, on rolls as well as pre-made shapes; more sizes and custom cuts and shapes (up to a maximum width of 1168mm) can be made to order in most RAL colours - contact our sales team by email or on 0113 2455450.

 Richard Ruffell on 2022-06-01 19:14:35 | Question: Hi, Can this be used on the steps (ceramic tiles) of a swimming pool, so the tape needs to be applied directly to the edges of the steps which are under water all the time? ie/ will stick when applied under water and will be okay in chlorinated water for years? I want to highlight the edge of the steps which some people find difficult to see and also cover the 90 degree edges which can have sharp edges. Thanks |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team: These are often used underwater, most applications perform well, but the manufacturer has experienced some failures. They believe the failures are due to certain chlorine mixes but due to the small amount of underwater applications this has not been confirmed. We would recommend testing on a small area prior to full application to ascertain if these are suitable for this particular pool application. | |
