Ideal for any internal areas that are susceptible to mould or organic growth including: walls, ceilings, woodwork, bathrooms, shower rooms, kitchens, bedrooms and living areas.
Glixtone Fungi-Shield Concentrated Sterilising Solution eliminates spores, is colourless and easy to apply.
Glixtone Fungi-Shield Concentrated Sterilising Solution must be diluted with water prior to use - 1 x 240ml bottle makes 5 litres.
Glixtone is affiliated with the National Residential Landlords Association (NRLA) as a Recognised Supplier.
Landlords face an on-going battle with properties and the infestation of mould which is both unsightly and a health hazard to their Tenants. Re-decoration is expensive, time consuming and disruptive. If Health Inspectors are notified this can also be a real problem to Landlords.
Glixtone Fungi-Shield will not stop condensation or damp, however, when applied it is impossible for mould spores to survive on its surface as the active biocide is distributed evenly over the entire paint film and will continue to kill spores on contact. Glixtone Fungi-Shield offers a long lasting solution to what can be a never ending battle.

First, wash the affected areas with Glixtone Concentrate Sterilising Solution diluted 5:1 with water
You may not need to use 5 litres. If not, mark the 240ml container into 5 equal parts, each of which can be diluted with 1 Litre of water
Allow to dry
After the above treatment, you may notice a ‘Stained’ area. These are Mould Spores which may grow back
On these ‘Stained’ areas apply Glixtone Concentrate Sterilising Solution UNDILUTED using a sponge and rubber or disposable gloves
Wipe over the stained area with the Sterilising Solution but DO NOT WASH OFF
Leave to FULLY dry
This will kill the spores and seal against oxygen ingress
If there are other stains such as water marks, rust stains etc, then a ‘Stain Block’ should be used prior to application of Glixtone Fungi–Shield
Fungi-Shield can now be painted on the whole area
After 5 days this painted area will be fully washable and give a high quality emulsion finish, ideal for any internal areas that are susceptible to mould or organic growth including: walls, ceilings, woodwork, bathrooms, shower rooms, kitchens, bedrooms and living areas
Limitations
DO NOT apply outside when there is a risk of rain or frost
When using inside, ensure good ventilation
Please Note: If Glixtone Fungi-Shield coatings are over-painted with anything other than Glixtone Fungi-Shield products, the fungicidal properties will be lost

Can you please let me know whether the Glixtone Fungi-Shield Concentrated Sterilising Solution would be suitable for mildew and can it be used as a top coat on an already painted wall?
What is the shelf time for this product once opened? We would need far less than 5 litres currently but could need to reapply yearly or half yearly depending on circumstances
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
Assuming the product once opened is stored with the lid fully sealed and at over 10°C, this product should give at least 2 years shelf-life.
