A smooth, exterior decorative and protective wall coating which produces a hard wearing, long lasting finish that remains flexible to help prevent any cracking, flaking or peeling. It’s elasticity ensures the coating waterproofs the surface, stopping water entering but still allows the substrate to breathe.

Contains ceramic spheres developed for use in the space industry that help significantly improve the insulating properties of the wall. This not only helps reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions but also helps protect the environment.

• Eco-friendly smooth water based wall coating
• Decorative and protective
• Hard wearing, long lasting, flexible
• Elastic – waterproof and water vapour permeable

Question: Can 1203 waterproof paint be sprayed onto my pebble dash wall,? do I have to apply a PVA coat first? I live close to the sea will this product be ok ? What type of spray would I have to use ?
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:

1203 Waterproof Masonry Paint can be applied directly to your surface. Thin the first coat up to 10% with clean, cold water.

If you wish to spray apply (we wouldn't recommended for small areas you would be better brushing/rolling) then an airless spray machine must be used with a tip size of 18-23 thou is and pressure 150-200 bar.

Question: Can this be applied on top of a concrete rough cast render which has been previously painted with a weathershield paint and also treated with Thompson's waterseal (about two years ago) .
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team: Thompson's WaterSeal is a clear, penetrative waterproofer so I presume this was applied before the Dulux Weathershield Masonry Paint was applied. Assuming this is correct then as long as the existing masonry paint is well adhered it can be cleaned down and 1203 Waterproof Masonry Paint can be applied directly in two coats. Thin the first coat with 10% clean, cold water and apply the second coat undiluted. You should achieve an average coverage rate of 2-3m² per litre/per coat on rough cast.
