We no longer stock this product, but can recommend Nu-Cryl WRS Extra as a great alternative.
Gum Magic is an aqueous pale yellow liquid that dries to a completely transparent finish leaving the substrate virtually unchanged. A simple application dramatically prolongs the life of all surfaces providing an innovative, scientific solution for the protection of buildings and structures; both historic and modern.
Gum Magic prevents chewing gum adhering to the surface and prevents the penetration of water, liquids, oil and most types of surface contamination to porous masonry substrates. It prevents stains and airborne dirt from adhering to the surface as well as having good resistance to graffiti and algal growth.
Gum Magic is for use on exterior stonework, patios, block paving, pedestrian areas and car parks. It can also be applied to interior stone flooring, floor tiles and garage doors.
Long Lasting Protection
Gum Magic gives long lasting protection to all porous building materials including brick, limestone, marble, granite, slate, terracotta, concrete rendering and artificial stone. After application of Gum Magic contaminants will no longer stick to the substrate and the transparent finish will not alter colour or original appearance allowing the surface to still breathe.
Gum Magic does not cause yellowing, it is waterborne, ready to use, water resistant, non-flammable and non-toxic. Because liquids simply run off the surface it eliminates the harmful effects of moisture and prevents frost damage. Stains are easily removed using water and detergents, chewing gum can usually be removed with medium pressure water jetting. Gum Magic also prevents moss and lichen growth on roofs, pavements and pedestrian surfaces.
