The Envirograf Intumescent Material & Paneled Door Upgrade system comprises of intumescent cloth, with many options of facings, for upgrading flat panelled doors to fire-rated doors. Intumescent Flat Panelled Door Upgrade Kits are also available for creating fire doors out of new or existing doors, consisting of the correct materials and adhesives needed.

Available with white, 1mm-thick fireproof card that must be painted with spirit-based undercoat and topcoat (Product 42), the veneer may be painted or varnished after fitting with Envirograf Acrylic Thixotropic Adhesive (Ref: IA - Intumescent Adhesive), in accordance with the guidelines in our download section, and advice from our technical team on 0113 2455450 (option 2) or [email protected].

Advantages

• Intumescent cloth can be applied to existing panelled doors in order to upgrade them to up to 30 minute fire doors.
• Intumescent cloth can also be used between 6mm plywood panels if new doors are being made, giving up to 30 minutes of fire protection.
• Used in conjunction with Product 42, this system can upgrade new or old standard doors to give them up to a 60-minute fire rating
• Fireproof card face is available in standard white, faced with Gaboon or birch ply, or in a range of veneers
