Envirograf Intumescent Cement Filler seals up gaps around pipes and services, flues, and internal brickwork, especially behind steel door frames. Setting like ordinary cement, the filler doesn't crack and will expand in a fire up to 5 times its original volume to seal cracks and gaps, preventing the spread of fire and smoke.

Typical uses:

Pointing around pipes, services, flues, internal brickwork. Cures to give a hard cement-like finish, which will withstand temperatures above 1400°C +.

Application:

Envirograf® Intumescent Cement Filler can be applied directly into holes and gaps using the 310ml tube then a trowel or spatula can be used to smooth surface. Alternatively it can be applied using trowel or spatula. When dry, it becomes hard like cement and can be painted over.

Tools can be cleaned in warm water.

Technical data:

• Composition: Water based polymer system with inert fillers.
• Specific gravity: 1.75
• Tack free time: 30 minutes depending on bead thickness room temperature and humidity.
• Full cure: Approximately 24 hours, depending on bead thickness, room temperature
• and relative humidity.

Hazards:

Alkaline – may cause skin irritation on prolonged contact with skin. Irritating to eyes.
Silicate cement is based on a water-based polymer.

Storage:

• 12 months in unopened original packaging.
• Store between 5C to 30C.
• Protect from frost.
