Envirograf Boards for the Protection of Steelwork provide extra fire protection for metal ducting and steelwork, simply adhering into place using Envirograf IA Adhesive (Product 46), which can also be used to fill joints.

The boards are supplied in 3 thicknesses at 1000mm x 1200mm, and cut easily with a sharp knife. Offcuts can be stuck into place for minimal wastage.

Examples of use

Used for complete fire protection of the heating boiler room at the headquarters of Suffolk Coastal District Council, building contractors Drake and Plant Ltd found the board especially useful for a number of areas of the boiler room that would otherwise have been difficult to access for a fire protection spray coating to be applied.

Tested to BS476 Part 22 (1987) achieving integrity and insulation of 104 minutes
