We no longer stock this product, but can recommend Rust-Oleum 5401 Epoxy Impregnation Primer as a great alternative.
Rust-Oleum 5161 Flexible Joint Primer is used to prime all gaps and cracks prior to the application of Rust-Oleum 5160 Flexible Joint Filler. Its unique formulation bonds to the substrate and forms a chemical bond when the Rust-Oleum 5160 Flexible Joint Filler is applied. Rust-Oleum 5160 Flexible Joint Filler should not be used without the prior application of the Rust-Oleum Rust-Oleum 5161 Flexible Joint Primer otherwise adhesion problems may occur.
Rust-Oleum 5161 Flexible Joint Primer should be applied undiluted by brush. Make sure the primer is brushed thoroughly into all areas of the gap or crack - bottom, edges, sides and if possible slightly overlapping the top edge to ensure a good joint is achieved. Once the primer has dried the 5160 Flexible Joint Filler from Rust-Oleum can be applied directly onto the primer with no further preparation required.
