Rust-Oleum Mathys Murfill Quartz is extremely suited to camouflaging damage, renovations and small surface unevenness. It is ready to use and simple to apply offering very attractive and even results.
Rust-Oleum Mathys Murfill Quartz can be applied directly on old, painted substrates (in good condition) after thorough brushing down. Chalking paints or non-painted substrates must be treated first (after high pressure water cleaning) with Mathys Pegafix. New or unpainted substrates: on porous materials apply first a coat of Rust-Oleum Mathys Primer 44 HS or with Mathys Pegafix. On smooth non-porous substrates apply a coat of Rust-Oleum Mathys Pegalink Universal Adhesion Primer or a thin coat of Rust-Oleum Mathys Noxyde (except for white) diluted with 25% water.
Cracks
Cracks < 0.5mm wide: fill up with Rust-Oleum Mathys Murfill Quartz.
Practical coverage depends on many factors such as porosity and roughness of the substrate and material losses during application.

Can your paint be used to paint a garage wall on the outside where my neighbour has buried my damp proof course ie dig out - paint - rebury. How long does the waterproofing last ?

This product provides a textured waterproof surface coating and can cover small surface uneveness, but must be applied to a clean, dry, sound substrate which has been prepared as detailed in the Technical Data Sheet.
If the previous paint is bubbling this will need to be removed prior to application.
