Questions
![]() | Question: Can I paint this on a rendered wall of my bungalow. And then paint the wall after. I live near the coast. The bungalow is solid wall construction with no cavity. |
Answer: No you couldn’t use it in this manner, it is designed to go onto bare masonry and be left as a clear sealer. Any of the Zinsser Masonry coatings would provide a waterproof/breathable finish to the rendered wall, i.e. Zinsser AllWeather Exterior Masonry Paint (Solvent Based) or Zinsser AllCoat Exterior Matt (Water Based) for example.
![]() | Question: Do you need to use a primer first |
Answer: No, this should be applied to suitably prepared bare surfaces such as brickwork, cement and mortar.
