Formulated using Pliolite technology, it has excellent adhesion and can be applied in temperatures as low as -5°C allowing for all year round application and offers protection for up to 15 years.
It is suitable for use on bonded paint and coatings, render, brick, stone, rough-cast and other masonry substrates.
All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from algae, lichen & other growths
If there is evidence of organic growth, power wash to remove and apply Wethertex C10 Fungicidal Wash in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions
Any faults in the substrate, particularly those that can lead to moisture penetration, must be rectified or the affect the finish quality may be affected
Any existing crazed or flaking paint, dirt, grease or other surface contaminants should be removed
Application
Stir the product thoroughly, do not contaminate
PP77 All Weather Pliolite Masonry Paint can be applied down to -5ºC by brush, short pile roller or spray
After suitable preparation, apply two coats
Product may be thinned by no more than 10% for use as a penetrating base coat on very porous surfaces
Do not thin for normal application (Use clean White Spirit)
Storage
When stored unopened in a dry place at temperatures above 5ºC, shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture
If you have any left over product, ensure that you close the tin by replacing the lid firmly and securely and store in a safe place
To avoid the risk of spillage, always store and transport in a secure upright position
Tool Cleaning
All equipment must be washed with clean, white spirit after use
Waste material should not be emptied in the drainage system
Some local authorities have special facilities for the disposal of leftover paint
Please do not add any product into drains or watercourses

How long should you wait before applying the second coat?

what is the coverage on brick and do you need a base coat
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
Assuming the brickwork is porous, bare, clean, dry sound and prepared as detailed in the technical data sheet we would recommmend two coats are applied with the first coat thinned no more that 10% with Bartoline White Spirit followed by an undiluted second coat.
Regarding coverage, you can expect approximately 4 to 8m² per litre for the first coat and 10 to 15m² per litre of the second coat.

Unfortunately no this is not suitable for application to lime render.
This is available in many RAL, NCS or BS colours in a matt finish.

I’m having my house re rendered in standard sand & cement. 1 How long should I wait until painting it ? 2 Will the bare surface require any additional treatment before painting? Thanks

The render must be fully cured, clean, dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the technical data sheet prior to application.
The render used and thickness applied will dictate the time this would take.
