Astro Clad - AFFRCLAD was designed to meet the NHBC requirements to maintain a minimum 15mm ventilation gap in timber frame constructions. Successfully fire tested in maximum size cavities of 25mm fitted directly onto combustible breather membrane and fixed into the timber structure to provide at least 30 minutes fire rating.
Astro Clad- AFFRCLAD75 was developed following an increasing demand for a suitable product to close off larger cavities up to 50mm in timber frame constructions. Successfully fire tested in cavities up to a maximum of 50mm within both combustible timber structures and non-combustible structures to provide up to 120 minutes fire rating.
Astro Clad – AFFRCLAD50 was designed to provide a large continuous open air space for cavities up to 125mm. Successfully fire tested to a maximum cavity size of 125mm fitted directly onto combustible breather membrane and fixed into the timber structure to provide at least 30 minutes fire rating. The fire barrier can also be fitted in between phenolic insulation panels to provide an effective fire barrier.

• Product contained within is generic to provide a close representation to your chosen colour.
• Should not be used to carry out any painting project, this is for colour selection purposes only and does not remove the need for you to ensure the correct product is chosen and tested for your application once a colour has been decided on.
• It is not a sample of the product you intend to purchase/use and cannot be used to test anything other than colour appearance.
• Notwithstanding any other provision of our conditions of sale, you agree and understand that many factors affect the colour of a painted product, including lighting, sheen level, method of application, batches variances number of coats and substrate surface.
• We cannot therefore promise that the colour of the product you ultimately purchase will exactly match the colour of this colour sample.
• Once you have selected a colour, you must purchase the smallest amount of the product you intend to use in your chosen colour and apply to a small, inconspicuous test area to be sure that it meets your expectations.
• Leave the product for 24 hours and then only buy more paint and/or apply more paint if you are completely happy with the results on the test area.
• We cannot be liable to you for any loss or damage if you have not complied with this process.
• Notwithstanding any other provision of our conditions of sale, you agree and understand that many factors affect the colour of a painted product, including lighting, sheen level, method of application and product surface.
• We cannot therefore promise that the colour of the product you paint with the Kolorbond paint will exactly match the colour of the item you send to us.
• You must therefore purchase the smallest Kolorbond paint pot available first and then apply the paint to a small, and where possible hidden, test area of your product to be sure that it meets your expectations.
• Leave the product for 24 hours and then only buy more paint and/or apply more paint to your product if you are completely happy with the results on the test area.
• We cannot be liable to you for any loss or damage if you have not complied with this process.
