Hensel Hensomastik B 3000 is a water-based fire protection coating for interior and exterior concrete. It improves the fire-resistance time of concrete and reinforced concrete structural parts to up to 120 minutes and is used particularly in areas with high emission loading, such as underground and multi-storey car parks.

Hensel Hensomastik B 3000 is a water-based fire protection coating for interior and exterior concrete. It improves the fire-resistance time of concrete and reinforced concrete structural parts to up to 120 minutes and is used particularly in areas with high emission loading, such as underground and multi-storey car parks.
Hensel Hensomastik B 3000 greatly delays the build-up of heat in concrete. At temperatures over 330°C, concrete and steel reinforcements expand at different rates. It prevents the concrete from flaking away from the steel reinforcement - fulfils the requirements under DIBt (October 2010) and AgBB (June 2012).
It is tested in compliance with the European standard EN 13381-3:2015, analogous to prEN 13381-3:2012, and is approved to Exova Warringtonfire WF report no. 339818.
Hensel Hensomastik B 3000 is easy to use, with low film thicknesses, puts no load on the surrounding structure and is maintenance free.
This product is a 'Hensel Green Product' and non-VOC in accordance with ISO 11890-2, A+ VOC emission class, LEED confirmation, AgBB tested. It also contains no halogens, APEO, borates, fibres or plasticisers
The fire resistance duration of concrete beams and columns can be improved by up to 120 minutes

Beton-Carbonsperre must be fully dry before applying Hensel Hensomastik B 3000 - subject to a positive fingernail test
Under the optimal conditions, a wet film thickness up to 1,500µm thick can be applied in one operation
Hensel Hensotop WB top coat offers the possibility of coloured design and protection against moisture - it should be applied when surfaces are exposed to environmental influences
Do not apply the top coat before Hensel Hensomastik B 3000 is fully dried. At the earliest after 48 hours and after a positive fingernail test
