Ensure surface is sound, clean and thoroughly dry. Remove any latence or slurry. Machine polished / power floated concrete floors should be mechanically or acid etched to provide a key. If acid is used, rinse to neutralise, & allow to dry. For previously painted floors, ensure existing paint films are sound and firmly adhering. Remove all loose, flaking and suspect films, clean them thoroughly with abrasive cleaner, rinse and allow to dry thoroughly. Hard 2 pack floor paints may need abrasion to give a key. Inferior floor paints are best removed where practical.
Apply by brush, roller or airless spray. Allow new concrete to fully dry and cure. Do not apply in damp conditions when condensation may form or below 4°C.
