Hello We have exposed steel rsjs in our new extension which we have built. We wpuld lile to paint them black to tie in with other structures. We know we have to paint them with intumesant paint but would lile some advice on which one and whether it is possible to apply a top coat of black. Whether that be a ajoining product by yourselves or some other. Also as the structure is in place is it possble to brush the coats on? Many thanks Peter Richardson
Thank you for your enquiry, please provide us with as much of the following information as possible;
Alternatively you can just forward us drawings, fabrication/cutting lists and we'll extract the information from them but in that instance we'd need some guidance as to what to allow for i.e. all steels on first floor, etc.

Jotun don't state a requirement for any specific training but do advise the applicator should be skilled and competent to apply the product.
