Interchar 2060c is an improved weather resistant version of Interchar 2060 recommended for a C4 environment as per ISO 12944-2:2007. Allows Interchar 2060c to remain untopcoated for up to 6 months provided there is no pooled/heavy running water, or frequent high humidity conditions. We do not recommend leaving the product untopcoated without first seeking advice from our Technical Department.

Description

International Interchar 2060c is a single component, solvent borne, borate free, high solids, low VOC, thin film intumescent coating optimized for 60 minutes fire resistance to structural steelwork. Independently tested at accredited laboratories to BS476 Parts 20-21, AS 1530.4-2005 and AS 4100, and third party assessed and certified.

Intended Uses:

  • To provide upto 60 minutes fire protection on 'I' sections beams, columns and hollow sections.
  • Suitable for both off-site and on-site application due to its ease of use, fast drying and handling properties. Can be used over a wide range of approved priming systems.
