An easy to apply, solvent based anti-slip floor coating in 4 RAL colours for interior and exterior foot traffic on old concrete (more than 2 yrs), metal and wood.
Rust-Oleum 7100NS Anti-Slip Floor Coating is an easy to apply, solvent based alkyd anti-slip floor coating specially designed for applying on old (>2 years), dry concrete for interior and exterior use.
It delivers good resistance against abrasion and neutral detergents (no alkaline cleaning agents) and is resistant during short contact periods against lubricating oils, fuel, petrol etc. Rust-Oleum 7100NS is also available in a smooth version (Rust-Oleum 7100 Floor Coating).
7100NS Anti-Slip Floor Coating can be applied on concrete floors older than 2 years, which are completely clean and dry. It is not recommended to apply on smooth/dense concrete or concrete containing a damp repellent additive, which will prevent a good adhesion. It can also be applied on old good adhering coatings and onto metal floors which have been correctly prepared and primed with a suitable Rust-Oleum metal primer.

Can this used on a external concrete ramp for Disabled access.
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
Assuming the concrete is clean, dry, sound and prepared in accordance with the technical data sheet, the ramp doesn't have a steep incline, and the concrete floor is older than 2 years, this product will be suitable for this application type.

Question:
Do you make or sell a none slip exterior floor paint that would cover a sandstone slab and two steps outside a church entrance gate as it becomes quite slippery when wet
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
This product could be used, but we would recommend that once the sandstone slab is clean, dry and sound it is first painted with Rust-Oleum 7200 Floorcoat PU to take up any porosity there may be in the sandstone

Question:
Hi I am looking at the Rust-Oleum 7100NS Anti-Slip Floor Coating on your website. Application: - we transport plastic railway sleepers on forklifts. I am hoping to use the paint to apply to the forks to reduce the sleepers moving/slippage. Would this paint be a suitable option or could you recommend any alternatives ? Regards Dave
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
Unfortunately we do not have a product we can recommend for this application.
Grp anti-slip fork covers would be more suitable.

Question:
Looking for an anti-slip paint for a fabricated steel machine step-up made with durbar steps. Ideally require RAL7016 or something dark grey. Any recommendations?
Can this paint be used to paint over a vinyl floor in a wet room.
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
Unfortunately no, but assuming the vinyl or rubber floor is nitrile or chloroprene, it is clean, dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the technical data sheet we can recommend Smartkote Safekote.
This is a barefoot friendly anti-slip paint available in a range of colours or a clear option.
The floor must be cleaned with Xylene, a test for compatibility and adhesion is recommended prior to full application.

Question:
Could I use this on decking
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
While this can be used internally or externally and on bare timber, the timber must be clean, dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the technical data sheet.
Due to decking rarely being painted on the underside and the exposure, the life span of paint on a timber decking may be short.

Question:
Is it suitable for a steep concrete residential driveway for vehicle and foot traffic? How long after application is it ready for vehicular traffic?
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
No unfortuntely this would not be suitable for this application.
Most driveways will not have a damp proof membrane present, unfortunately without this we cannot offer an antislip paint for this application.

Question:
Is this suitable for application to an external metal staircase (one year old) with durbar plate steps?
Is it suitable for a new wood staircase, with medium foot and pet traffic?
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
We would instead suggest Smartkote Safekote. Abrade, clean and allow to completely dry before applying Safekote directly. Dilute the first coat with 10% Xylene to aid penetration.
