Rust-Oleum Powerfloat Epoxy Floor Primer Rapid 3366 is a rapid curing 2-component solvent-free epoxy primer designed to improve the adhesion of coatings to difficult substrates such as power-floated concrete.
Main Properties
Excellent adhesion and binding power - recoating time of only 3 hours allows application of primer and topcoat in one day - product has a light grey finish, creating a better opacity for the following coating.
Recommended Uses
For use on dense, smooth floors like power-floated concrete, quarry tiles and ceramic tiles. Product can be used in combination with all Rust-Oleum or Mathys epoxy and polyurethane coatings. For any other coating, we recommend a test for suitability.

Practical Consumption
Practical coverage depends on many factors such as porosity and roughness of the substrate and material losses during application.
Surface Preparation
New concrete should be allowed at least 30 days to dry. Surfaces should be clean, dry and free from oil, grease, dust, dirt, curing compounds and other contaminants. Remove grease, oil and all other surface contaminations by alkaline or high pressure (steam) cleaning. Remove all previous coatings completely.
Remarks
Although the product will improve adhesion on difficult surfaces the characteristics of such surfaces can vary. For this reason a trial area should be applied to ensure that adequate adhesion can be achieved. This also applies to surfaces which are difficult to clean, such as tiles in bare foot areas. Rust-Oleum 3366 is intended as a primer only, not a wearing surface. The product can never assure good adhesion to unsound, friable, unclean or otherwise unsuitable surfaces. Depending on the substrate and how effectively it can be cleaned, Rust-Oleum 3366 may not be as effective as traditional means of preparation such as shot blasting. We would recommend such methods be used whenever possible, especially for larger or more heavily trafficked areas.
