Nu-Base Epoxy Floor Primer is ideal for priming floors in damp and cold conditions, such as multi-storey car parks and subways. Despite the damp conditions, this primer will still cure. Being epoxy-based, it will provide a tough undercoat on which to apply the topcoat.

Assuming no water pressure is applied, the Nu-Base Epoxy Floor Primer will act as a damp-proof membrane.

Product Use in the Workplace

  • Multi-storey car park - Hundreds of cars wheeling-in rainwater and debris daily, combined with rainfall working its way in can puddle on uneven car park flooring. Sheltered from the sun, and acting as a wind tunnel, these concrete car hotels are prime candidate as a cold and damp environment which can make applying a protective coating tricky. This specially-formulated epoxy primer is designed for use in such damp and cold environments.
  • Subway - Cold. Damp. Dreary. No sunlight. This all equates to an environment that needs an epoxy-based floor sealer that is ideal for such environments. Once primer has dried, the topcoat can be applied.
