![]() | Question: A few years ago I used a Sika produce on a new screed, it was a two part solution which dried like glass. It was for fast track sealer so I could fit a timber floor on top without any problems with the moisture content of the screed effecting the timber. Do you still do such a product? I'm looking at an area of 110m2 |
Answer: Sika Primer MB may be the product you used? Coverage is 400–600 g/m² so to apply 1 coat to 110m² you would require 44-66kg. A second coat may be necessary depending on your substrate and requirements - see product data sheet (downloadable from the product page) for more details.
![]() | Question: is it okay to apply curehard 24 on painted concrete floor |
Answer: No, it is for bare concrete only.
![]() | Question: Hi can you put a paint over the top of curehard 24 if so what products would you use |
Answer: Sikafloor CureHard 24 cannot be overcoated, it would need to be mechanically prepared by way of blasting before a coating system was applied.
![]() | Question: I am looking at roughly 600m² of powerfloated concrete. Firstly I am going to degrease then lightly abrade the surface (as spec'd by Sika) before applying 2 coats of Sikafloor CureHard 24. Would you have more of an indication as to the meterage per litre based on this spec? |
Answer: We would recommend working on 5.5m² per litre/per coat. This would mean you would require 220lts (9 x 25lts) to apply 2 coats to 600m².
