![]() | Question:
Is this product suitable to seal an indoor exposed cob wall that I can then paint with a matt/silk emulsion paint. |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
While this product once fully dried can be sanded, washed down and painted, it has not be tested for this application to cob. We would recommend to test on a small area for compatibility and adhesion prior to full application.
![]() | Question:
Can i use this to seal interior plaster wall before painting with matt emulsion interior paint? |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
Assuming you are wanting to seal an area of existing, aged plaster due to an isolated and rectified damp issue, we would suggest something like Coo-Var Anti-Damp Paint would be more suited to this type of application. However, if you just have new/bare plaster that you do not have any dampe issues with and simply wish to prime/seal before painting or papering then Zinsser Drywall Pro 2 in 1 would be the more suitable option.
![]() | Question:
Can I plaster onto g4 damp proofing sealant? |

It is possible to plaster surfaces that have been treated with Bonda G4 Damp Seal.
