Slip Resistance
Should a non-slip finish be required, 508 Fine Particle Anti-Slip Additive can be added to the coating during mixing prior to application to produce an even and easily cleanable texture to the dried surface.
Alternatively the 'Anti Slip' option can be selected when purchasing the product and the 250 micron grade of 508 Anti-Slip Additive will be added at 2.4% prior to receipt.
5kg unit - add 200g
15kg unit - add 600g
The above recommendation must only be used as a general guideline as the slip resistance of a cured resin coating can vary considerably due to many factors including: application technique, variations in film thickness, dispersion of the anti-slip texturing additive and the surface variations of the substrate and location to where it will be applied.
To obtain accurate PTV readings that are site specific (if required) it is strongly recommended that a slip assessment pendulum test is undertaken on each specific site after completion of the installation when the resin has fully cured.
Coverage
A 5kg pack is sufficient to seal 16 - 33m² of surface per coat
Surface Preparation
All surfaces should be sound, clean, and free from dust, dirt, laitance, oil and other contaminants
All laitance must be removed by vacuum grit blasting, ensuring that any residual dust is removed prior to coating application
New concrete surfaces must be a minimum of 21 days old and/or have a residual moisture content below 6%
For sealing flaked SL screeds, ensure that the screed surface has been thoroughly ‘de-nibbed’ and is free from contaminants
Mixing:
Pour the contents of the curing agent container into the base container and thoroughly mix, preferably by mechanical means until a uniform consistency is achieved
The mixed material may be thinned by the addition of up to a maximum of 10% by volume of clean, potable water
Mixing Ratio:
By Weight = 100 Base : 52.4 Curing Agent
Application
Apply by brush, or roller to the prepared surface at a nominal rate of 0.15-0.30kg/m²
Should a second coat be required, allow the first coat to cure for a minimum period of 14 hours @ 20°C
Cleaning
Clean equipment with 109 Tool Cleaner prior to curing of the coating
Curing
Should a second coat be required, allow the first coat to cure for a minimum period of 14 hours @ 20°C

Hello We have recently applied 305 HD Clear Sealer to a concrete floor and a roller used to apply it was accidentally left on the floor and has now become stuck firm to the surface! Please can you advise how to go about removing the roller safely? Thank you
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
If the Clear Sealer has already gone hard you will have to use mechanical methods.

Question:
Hello, I am looking for a non-impregnating sealer for my concrete kitchen floor. It has underfloor heating and has been ground and polished to 1500 grit. I would like a durable glossy finish. What product can you recommend? Many thanks, Marina
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
The surface tolerance of the 305 HD Clear Sealer will likely not be good enough potentially resulting in a whole host of issues here due to you 'polishing' the floor. 401 Epoxy Floor Primer has the better surface tolerance and does work very well as a gloss sealer. We would recommend a trial area though to ensure you are happy with the finish and adhesion.
