New & Improved!
Based on customer feedback, the product formulation has been improved;
Easier to mix in the can
More flexibility in the application time (potlife)
Better flow properties, easier to spread with roller and work into the surface
New RAL colours
To give applicators more flexibility in application time (potlife), and to increase the temperature range of the product the product is now available in 2 versions:
Standard - For applications above 10°C, improved potlife at higher temperatures, ideal summer applications.
Wintergrade - For applications between -10°C up to +10°C, ideal for cold rooms, freezers, or applications in winter.
Concrete must be at least four weeks old, completely dry and free of surface laitance, contaminants, ice, water and previous poorly bonded coatings. Remove grease, oil and all other surface contaminations by alkaline or high pressure (steam) cleaning in combination with appropriate detergents. Sand previous coatings which are in good condition to remove gloss and to roughen the surface slightly. A trial area is advisable to test compatibility with previous coatings. Very smooth concrete or concrete with surface laitance (a weak dusty layer) should be abraded or etched with Surfa-Etch 108 to ensure adequate adhesion. The concrete should be thoroughly washed down and allowed to dry after. Powerfloat Epoxy Floor Primer 3366 is recommended on powerfloated surfaces. Below 5°C it may be necessary to avoid processes which involve wetting the floor due to the difficulty in drying. A good sweep or mechanical brushing may be sufficient. Do not apply outside if rainfall is imminent.
Mix between 10 to 25°C (WG 5 to 20°C). Add the activator to the base. Stir the mixture thoroughly using a spatula or a similar wide bladed tool (a piece of wooden batten is ideal) until an even colour and consistency are obtained
Application Conditions
Apply only if the temperature of the surface and environment is between 10 to 25°C (standard grade) and -10 to 10°C (Wintergrade). Replace rollers and roller pan regularly (25 to 45 minutes).
Remarks
The product is not recommended in case of stagnating water and/or immersion.

How many coats would typically be required for a workshop floor? The workshop cant be painted in one go due to movement of equipment etc, are there any recommendations for painting in sections?
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
We would recommend two coats are applied to clean, dry, sound and prepared bare, porous, concrete floor.
