    Application Equipment/Tools

    For mixing the product:
    - Twin-paddle stirrer

    For applying the product:
    - Rubber squeegee (45cm-60cm) or Smoothing trowel

    Surface treatment with:
    - Sheepskin roller/Textured Roller

    Substrate Pre-treatment

MMAXGRIP PRMX 45 can be applied in top of a hardened layer of Primer. Primer is not required on asphalt surfaces.

    Concrete

Ennis-Flint MMAXGRIP PRMX Primer is used as a primer on absorbent substrates, e.g. concrete. For further information, please refer to the technical information sheet.

    Mixing

First stir the tub contents thoroughly. Then add the catalyst while stirring at the slow-speed setting and mix for 2 minutes. Make sure that the product on the base and sides of the container is incorporated. Ideally the roller-applied coating should therefore be re-potted once before stirring again. At product temperatures < 10˚C the product should be stirred for 4 minutes, as the catalyst will take longer to dissolve.

    Application

Use a smoothing trowel or rubber squeegee to spread the material evenly and smooth it over, using the particle size as a guide to layer thickness. To achieve the desired finish, go over the area with a sheepskin or textured roller.

NOTE: Ennis-Flint MMAXGRIP PRMX 45 is subject to a 7 - 10 working day lead time. It is also available in all RAL colours, except effect colours. Please contact us for further details. Additional costs and extended lead times may be applicable.
