Construction of System

1. Mineral surface - concrete or similar, steel
2. Primer
   1. For concrete surfaces:
      1. Temafloor 400
      2. Temafloor 200 (2-3 week lead time expected)
      3. Temafloor 220W (damp-resisting - 2-3 week lead time expected)
   2. For steel surfaces:
      1. Temabond ST 200
3. Non-slip sand
4. Main coat – composite of colorful polyurethane resin Temafloor PU (2-3 week lead time expected) plus non slip sand in volumetric proportion 5:4
5. Non slip sand
6. Top coat – colourful polyurethane resin Temafloor PU UV (2-3 week lead time expected)

Surface Preparation

Concrete

Clean and prime surface according to technical card of primer (Temafloor 200, Temafloor 400 or Temafloor 220, 0.27-0.35 l/m³ ).

Add non-slip sand with grain between 0.4-0.8mm in amount around 1 kg/m² when wet primer. Remove remains of the sand when it is dry.

Steel

Clean and prime surface according to technical card of primer Temabond ST 200.

Application - Main Coat

Mix Temafloor PU and non-slip sand according to table below.

Consumption of mineral-resin composite is around 0.6-0.7 l/m² at 1 mm thick of layer.

Mixing ratio (Volume) proportion of non-slip sand and joint should be around 5:4.

Mixture is to be distributed by notch trowel then spike roller. Add non-slip sand (4-6 kg/m²) with grain 0.4-0.8 or 0.6-1.2mm depends on required thick and rough of layer. Let it dry minimum 12 hrs at temperature not less than 15°C.

Application - Topcoat

Earlier prepared Temafloor PU UV according to its data sheet. Apply with portions on dry main coat and distribute by roller and rubber / steel trowel (consumption around 0.35 – 0.45 l/m² depends on required rough of layer).

Let it dry minimum 12 hrs at temperature not less than 15°C.

Drying Time

Pedestrian traffic - after 24 hrs

Heavy traffic - after 7 days
