Eagle Tecnotop 2C is a two-component* aliphatic polyurethane resin for treatment, decoration and protection of flooring, making it ideal for industrial or commercial use in high-traffic areas, such as car parks. The coating can also be used with Desmopol Polyurethane Membrane for protection against UV rays on flat or sloped roofs, terraces and balconies.

Eagle Tecnotop 2C forms a hard and strong continuous film with excellent adhesion and mechanical properties, resisting abrasion and stress, algae and mould growth, weathering, extreme temperatures, and UV radiation.

Do not apply on swimming pools or on surfaces that undergo total immersion.

*Please Note: Eagle Tecnotop 2C Black is supplied in 3 parts, Clear Base (Component A), Black Pigment and an Activator (Component B). Please see 'Application' below for further details.

Application

Mix both components together* well using a rod stirrer for around 2 minutes, or until the two components are completely mixed. Tecnotop 2C must be applied in thin layers by roller, brush or airless spray equipment:

• Nozzle: 0.007" to 0.011"
• Nozzle tip pressure, 180 to 200 kg/m²

*Please note - Eagle Tecnotop 2C Black is supplied in 3 parts, Clear Base (Component A), Black Pigment and an Activator (Component B). The Black Pigment should be added to the Clear Base (Component A) and blended fully using a mixing paddle/whisk at a slow to medium speed. Once a uniform colour, the Activator (Component B) should be added and then mixed again before applying.

Tecnotop 2C can be applied to many different surfaces such as concrete, cement, ceramics, and painted surfaces, and can be used with Tecnocoat and Desmopol membranes for UV ray protection. Primer PU-1000 can be used for superior adhesion to surfaces.

Tecnotop 2C can be diluted (maximum 5%) with Desmosolvent.

Drying Times & Coverage

• Tack-free time at 23ºC: ±2 hours
• Recoat time at 23ºC: 4~48 hours
• Consumption: 150~200 g/m²/coat
