    • Great care should be taken to achieve the dft stated in the agreed specification and to avoid areas of excessively low or high thickness.

    Surface Preparation


    • Ensure surfaces to be coated are dry and must be cleaned using the appropriate HMG product to remove all traces of contaminants.
    • Read and follow the safety data sheet, product data sheet and label instructions.
    • Stir all paints thoroughly before use.
    • Always use the same batch number on the same job.
    • Check colour & sheen.
    • Filter the product immediately before use.
    • Reduce emissions and maintain quality by replacing tin lid after use.

    we are proposing to use this as a floor paint, do you have any data on slip resistance? ie an R number according to DIN 51130?

    Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team: 

    Unfortunately HMG Paints do not have this data nor has this product been tested to the DIN 51130 specification.
