![]() | Question:
Hi, I am trying to find a suitable finish for walls and ceilings in a swimming pool, ideally something that can be applied like a paint that will prevent humidity passing through a ceiling finish (possibly gypsum based) and causing interstitial condensation, damp/ mould. Any suggestions appreciated. Thank you Sam |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
Assuming the substrates are gypsum based and a gloss finish is suitable, the susbstrates are clean, dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the technical data sheet we can recommend Teamac Chlorvar Chlorinated Rubber Paint. This can be mixed to many RAL and BS colour options. The first coat should be thinned 10% with Teamac Thinner 15 followed by a further 2 to 3 coats. | |
