Tor Torsan Acrylic Eggshell is a one pack low odour water based coating providing excellent resistance to bacterial and fungal growth. It is a quick drying decorative and protective antimicrobial coating system for interior walls and ceilings.

Tor Torsan Acrylic Eggshell is particularly suited to public areas and safe to use in food preparation environments. It is ideal for general interior use on walls and ceilings where a durable and cleanable finish is needed. It can be applied to new, bare or previously painted internal surfaces including including plaster, plasterboard, masonry, tiles, brick and most other construction lining materials.

Features & Benefits

Surface Preparation

Bare Porous Surfaces:

• Stabilise the surface with 1 coat of Tor Aqualife WSE Primer EP131 thinned with 10% clean water

Previously Painted Emulsion Surfaces:

• Wash thoroughly with detergent solution, rinse with clean water and allow to dry. Apply 2 coats Tor Torsan Acrylic Eggshell EM379

Hard Glossy Surface:

• Apply 1 coat Aqualife WSE Primer EP131

Application Details

Drying Times

Note: Drying/curing times will be shortened by higher temperatures and lengthened by lower temperatures

Storage & Handling

Store in a safe place out of the reach of children, protect from frost.

Flash point

• Non flammable

Shelf life

• 3 years in unopened containers

Limitations

• The liquid paint and the freshly applied paint film must be protected from frost
• Do not apply if the temperature is below 8°C or the relative humidity exceeds 85%
• Do not apply if condensation is likely to occur
• Drying times will be extended if temperature falls below 10°C
• Drying times will be extended in cold weather in unheated buildings

Health & Safety

• A copy of the appropriate Health & Safety Data Sheet should be consulted prior to using the product
• Minimum precautions for all paints:
  • Avoid skin and eye contact i.e. wear gloves, goggles, etc
  • Ensure good ventilation, mechanical if necessary
  • Store and use away from heat and flame
  • Do not eat or smoke in the vicinity of work
  • Wash hands before eating
  • Refer to supply container for additional warning labels
