questions Jane Fletcher on 2018-06-08 13:25:36
Question:

Will Zinsser 5:1 cover light grease stains on textured ceiling

Answer:

We wouldn't recommend this, try cleaning with the Zinsser Universal Degreaser & Cleaner to remove as much as you can before applying Zinsser Ceiling Pro 5 in 1.

questions John on 2017-05-16 15:13:25
Question: I want to use this product to cover hairline cracks in a bathroom ceiling but also want to emulsion over it with a different colour. The product sheet states that it does not mix with emulsion paint. Would an emulsion coat over it adhere properly?
Answer:

You can overpaint the Zinsser Ceiling Pro 5 in 1 with a conventional emulsion provided the 1 hour recoat/overcoat time is followed.

The other option would be for us to tint the Ceiling Pro to a pastel colour using our mixing machines. The colour will come up slightly lighter compared to a standard tint due to higher loading of white pigment in the Ceiling Pro.
