    Remarks

To achieve the required level of gloss reduction the following guideline has been created.  It is important to note that the performance of the product will be similar to the original gloss, however, the opacity of the chosen finish will be affected where the Matting Additive is increased and may require multiple coats to achieve full opacity.

All reductions are approximate and testing on a non-critical area should be carried out to ensure the required sheen level has been achieved prior to full application.

Matt appearance may vary from the original colour.

    Recommended guidelines are as follows:

    • 25% addition by volume will achieve around a 35% reduction in gloss
    • 50% addition by volume will achieve around an 80 to 85% reduction in gloss
    • 75% addition by volume will achieve around a 90 and 95% reduction in gloss.
