PPG SigmaDur 550, a two-component, aliphatic acrylic polyurethane finish with excellent resistance to atmospheric exposure conditions that cures at temperatures down to -5°C (23°F).
PPG SigmaDur 550, a two-component, aliphatic acrylic polyurethane finish with excellent resistance to atmospheric exposure conditions and is resistant to splash of mineral and vegetable oils, paraffins, aliphatic petroleum products and mild chemicals. Available in 2200+ colours from RAL, BS and NCS, the finish has excellent colour and gloss retention, is non-chalking and non-yellowing, and can be recoated unlimited times, even after long atmospheric exposure.

Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team: No we would not recommend applying this product directly to a galvanised surface. Assuming it is clean, dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the technical data sheet, PPG Sigmacover 280 could be used as a primer first. | |
