    Recommended Substrate Conditions and Temperatures

    Substrate conditions

    • Previous coat must be dry and free from any contamination
    • Old existing sound coating; sufficiently roughened, dry and cleaned

    Substrate Temperature & Application Conditions

    • Substrate temperature during application should be above 5°C (41°F)
    • Substrate temperature during application should be at least 3°C (5°F) above dew point

questions Chris Jeffery on 2022-01-02 16:09:14
    Question:

Would this be suitable for painting my Lugarde summer house. I believe they use Sigma paint. Thanks.

    Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:

We wouldn’t recommend this product for your application, assuming the timber is clean, dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the technical data sheet we can recommend Zanders PF59 Stain Blocking Primer Finish followed by Wethertex OT25 Wood-Flex Satin Opaque Timber Paint for this application.

This is available in many RAL and BS colours in matt finish.
