Jotun Pilot ACR is a one component physically drying acrylic coating that has a semi gloss finish with good gloss retention. It is a high build product that is fast drying and can be used direct to metal. To be used as topcoat in atmospheric environments and can be applied at sub zero surface temperatures.
Jotun Pilot ACR is recommended for refineries, power plants, bridges and buildings. Suitable for a wide range of industrial structures.

Pilot ACR requires no mixing and has no pot life restrictions, which reduce time spent on preparation, waste, spillage and leftovers

Direct-to-metal (DTM)
Can be used as a one-coat DTM product in atmospheric corrosivity category C2.
Can also be used as a two-coat DTM product in atmospheric corrosivity category C3 (acc. ISO 12944).
Primers
Pilot ACR will form a long lasting corrosion protection system together with primers like Penguard, Jotamastic or one-component acrylic primers for a wide range of purposes.

Assuming the cast iron is clean, dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the technical data sheet this can be used.
We would recommend blasting to SA2.5 prior to application.

Question: . Can i use this paint to paint wood ? curently i'm in the process of building an outdoor bbq area which will be covered and i want to paint the timber inside .
i initially want to purchase this paint to paint a metal shed and with the rest of it to bbq area .

Jotun Pilot ACR would not be suitable for the application you have described, instead we would suggest using Rust-Oleum CombiColor Multi-Surface.
