We no longer stock this product, but can recommend International Interzone 954GF as a great alternative.
International Interzone 505 is a high solids, low VOC, high build epoxy primer/intermediate or finish coat, reinforced with chemically resistant high aspect ratio glass flake for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance.
International Interzone 505 is a 90% solids epoxy enhanced with chemically resistant high aspect ratio glass flake, which provides long term, anticorrosive and antiabrasion protection in new construction and maintenance situations.
International Interzone 505 withstands the abrasive and corrosive effects in splash and tidal zones, is resilient to chemical splash and spillages encountered in industrial environments and resists damage in immersed conditions, when used in a suitable system.
International Interzone 505 is enforced with high aspect ratio glass flake but retains a smooth surface finish compared to other glass flake epoxies. Compatible with a range of finishes, Interzone® 505 is an ideal choice as a primer or intermediate in corrosive environments.
International Interzone 505 holds Norsok M-501 Rev 5 System 7 approvals for submerged (subsea) areas. Other approvals held include: ACQPA (France), BBA 123 (Bridges) (UK) and UK Network Rail (UK).
Intended Uses
- International Interzone 505 is for the protection of steelwork in all corrosive environments including splashzone areas on offshore structures, underdeck, decks and above water areas, pilings, pulp and paper mills, bridges and chemical plants.
