    Jotun Penguard Universal is a two component polyamine cured pure epoxy coating that is a fast drying, all year round, high solids, high build product. Jotun Penguard Universal provides excellent corrosion protection as part of a complete coating system and can be used as primer, mid coat, finish coat or as a single coat system in atmospheric and immersed environments.

    Description

    Jotun Penguard Universal is a two component polyamine cured pure epoxy coating that is a fast drying, high solids, high build product. Jotun Penguard Universal provides excellent corrosion protection as part of a complete coating system and can be used as primer, mid coat, finish coat or as a single coat system in atmospheric and immersed environments. Suitable for properly prepared carbon steel, galvanised steel, shop primed steel, stainless steel, aluminium and concrete substrates. It is also suitable as a maintenance coating on a wide range of aged coating surfaces and can be applied at sub zero surface temperatures.

    Typical Uses
    Recommended for offshore environments, including splash zones, refineries, power plants, bridges, buildings, mining equipment and general structural steel.

    • Approved for PSPC for Water Ballast Tanks according to IMO Res. MSC 215(82)
    • Approved for PSPC for Crude Oil Tanks according to IMO Res. MSC 288(87)
