These times are based on 50 microns DFT. Higher film thickness, insufficient ventilation or cooler temperatures will require longer drying times and could result in solvent entrapment and premature failure
Surface Preparation
General
Surface must be clean and dry upon paint application
Oil and fat contaminants must be removed with a suitable solvent like Carboline Thinner No. 10 or an alkaline cleaner like Carboline Surface Cleaner No. 3

• Should not be used to carry out any painting project, this is for colour selection purposes only and does not remove the need for you to ensure the correct product is chosen and tested for your application once a colour has been decided on.
• It is not a sample of the product you intend to purchase/use and cannot be used to test anything other than colour appearance.
• Notwithstanding any other provision of our conditions of sale, you agree and understand that many factors affect the colour of a painted product, including lighting, sheen level, method of application, batches variances number of coats and substrate surface.
• We cannot therefore promise that the colour of the product you ultimately purchase will exactly match the colour of this colour sample.
• Once you have selected a colour, you must purchase the smallest amount of the product you intend to use in your chosen colour and apply to a small, inconspicuous test area to be sure that it meets your expectations.
• Leave the product for 24 hours and then only buy more paint and/or apply more paint if you are completely happy with the results on the test area.
• We cannot be liable to you for any loss or damage if you have not complied with this process.
