Jotun Pilot ACR Aluminium is a one component physically drying acrylic coating that has a semi gloss finish with good gloss retention. It is a high build product that is fast drying and can be used direct to metal. To be used as a topcoat in atmospheric environments and can be applied at sub zero surface temperatures.
Recommended for refineries, power plants, bridges and buildings. Suitable for a wide range of industrial structures. For marine use it is recommended for topside and superstructure.

Application
Application Methods:
Spray: Use airless spray (thin 5 %)
Brush: Use a suitable brush. Care must be taken to achieve the specified dry film thickness
Roller: May be used, but is not recommended for first coat on bare metal. Care must be taken to achieve the specified dry film thickness
Drying and curing times are determined under controlled temperatures and relative humidity below 85 %, and at average of the DFT range for the product
Surface (touch) dry: The state of drying when slight pressure with a finger does not leave an imprint or reveal tackiness
Walk-on-dry: Minimum time before the coating can tolerate normal foot traffic without permanent marks, imprints or other physical damage
Dry to over coat, minimum: The recommended shortest time before the next coat can be applied
