Would Cromadex 750 with a top coat of Cromadex 700 be suitable for carbon fibre composite components? Would the surface preparation recommendations be the same as for GRP?
We would instead suggest Cromadex 850 Two Pack Non-Isocyanate Acrylic Primer as a more suitable option. Due to how tough carbon fibre is we couldn’t say how long it would last due to the potential adhesion risk. It’d need thoroughly abrading first, and we’d recommend coating some test pieces prior to going in to full production.
