    Dry Temperature Resistance:Continuous: 100°C (212°F)
    Non-Continuous: 120°C (248°F)
    Slight discoloration and loss of gloss may be observed above 100°C
    Theoretrical Coverage Rate:4,2 m²/l at 100 µm
    Allow for loss in mixing and application
    Dry Film Thickness:75 – 150 µm per coat, normally 100 µm
    Wet Film Thickness:180 – 360 µm per coat, normally 240 µm
    Topcoats:Normally topcoated with Carbocrylic 3359 TC. Other waterborne topcoats may be used.
    Limitations:Not recommended for immersion service
    Shelf Life:24 months at 24°C
    Storage:Store indoors. Keep from freezing.
    Storage Temperature & Humidity:5° - 45°C, 0-95% RH

    • Actual surface dry and dry to topcoat times will depend upon film thickness, air humidity, ventilation and other local conditions.
    • Above times should be considered as guidelines provided good ventilation conditions.



    Surface Preparation


    General

    • Surface must be clean and dry. Employ adequate methods to remove dirt, dust, oil and all other contaminants that could interfere with adhesion of the coating.

    Steel

    • Normally applied over clean and dry recommended primers. When applied directly to steel, blast clean to min. Sa2 or power tool clean to St2 (ISO 8501-1).

    Concrete

    • Apply over clean and dry surface. Concrete must be cured min. 28 days at 24°C and RH 50% or equivalent. A test patch is recommended to check adhesion.

    Mixing:Power mix until uniform in consistency. Avoid excessive air entrapment.
    Thinning:May be thinned up to 5% with clean potable water
    General:Pre-rinse equipment with butyl glycol followed by clean potable water before spraying.
    Airless Spray:Pump Ratio: 30:1 (minimum)
    GPM Output: 3.0 (minimum) 12 liters/min
    Material Hose: 3/8" I.D. (minimum)
    Tip Size: 0.013” - 0.017”
    Output PSI: 1800-2200
    Filter Size: 60 mesh
    Teflon packings are recommended
    Brush & Roller (General):Use a synthetic bristle brush or short nap synthetic roller cover with phenolic core.

    • Do not apply when the surface temperature is less than 3°C above the dew point. Do not apply if temperatures are expected to drop below 10°C within 24 hours of application.
    • Film thickness above recommendations may reduce product properties.



    Health & Safety


    Clean Up

    • Use clean potable water followed by butyl glycol or other suitable solvent to dry equipment. In case of spillage, absorb and dispose of in accordance with local applicable regulations.

    Safety

    • Read and follow all caution statements on this product data sheet and on the MSDS for this product. Employ normal workmanlike safety precautions. Hypersensitive persons should wear protective clothing, gloves and use protective cream on face, hands and all exposed areas.
    • Refer to the safety data sheet in the attachments section above and tin label prior to use.
